Whakamātūtū – The Depression Recovery Centre
A collaborative research project looking at the post-treatment effectiveness of the service.
Underserved communities
Depression affects underserved communities disproportionately, and so we will be seeking to address this in any research we plan and undertake, thereby strengthening practice. Whakamātūtū has a strong commitment to bicultural engagement, so any research we undertake for them will also promote whānau voices.
Current status
- We are currently designing a research project for the centre, and actively looking for funding to evaluate the service provided.
