Child play therapy works
Evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of child-centred play therapy in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Underserved communities
Traditionally child (and adolescent) psychotherapy in this country has not been widely available in the public sector. This research – on a form of child therapy which is offered to clients at a much lower cost than private psychotherapists – focuses on hitherto underserved communities, and represents all three of our priorities, i.e., strengthening practice, promoting whānau voices, and enhancing education.
